Charles & Ron always draw inspiration from everything that inspires and intrigues them on the islands that they call home, Malta and Gozo. This collection zooms in and out on several aspects of Maltese history and nature.
The inspiration for this collection started off from images of wild flowers that bloom in Malta’s country side in Spring time. Some of these beautiful flowers many times go unnoticed as they are tiny but when you zoom in you reveal the most beautiful shapes and colours. As our environment worldwide faces many challenges we have to do all we can to preserve these beautiful treasures.
Charles & Ron are supported by The Malta Tourism Authority, Rocs Travel and Inglot.
Charles & Ron used Silk Twill, Silk Tafeta , Corded Silk, Organza and Chiffon. Logo embroidered denim was used for some of the men’s designs. Tulle dresses are embellished with elaborate feather decoration and hand beaded flowers.
Yellow “Lelux” ,Poppy Red, Pink, Lilac, Biscay Green and Turquoise are the main colors for this collection which are set off against the staple C&R white and black .
