Lagos, Nigeria-based singer/songwriter Tems drops the video for her electric single “Crazy Tings” via Since ‘93/RCA Records – click here to watch. The single is off Tems’ new critically-acclaimed EP If Orange Was A Place, which also had the standout track “Found” featuring Brent Faiyaz. This visual release follows the announcement of Tems as Apple Music’s Up Next artist and her signing to Since ‘93/RCA Records. Recently, Tems sold out her first U.S. headlining shows and made her late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! performing “Avoid Things.” In addition to her own music making waves, Wizkid’s Tems-assisted track “Essence,” which is now officially RIAA-certified Platinum, has been in the top ten of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for the past two weeks in a row, currently sitting at #9.
Tems has been having a standout year since releasing her previous EP For Broken Ears and her trajectory is continuing to skyrocket. She’s a singer/songwriter/self-taught producer that writes, arranges and produces her music with a genre-blending sound that fuses R&B with soul, reggae and more in her own unique way. She was featured on the standout track “Fountains” on Drake’s latest album Certified Lover Boy and has also worked with various artists such as Khalid, Disclosure, Davido and more. Beyond music, Tems is a gifted artist who enjoys designing clothes and coming up with creations that she can wear to photoshoots, events or on tour.
