Last night, Taylor Swift returned to the stage for Lady Gaga’s big Togetherat Home benefit concert and she gave one of her most intimate public performances ever. The singer did her first live performance of her new song “Soon You’ll Get Better” about her own feelings watching her mother battle cancer.
Swift’s participation in the concert comes days after she announced her decision to postpone all her tour dates until next year as the coronavirus pandemic continues. “I’m so sad I won’t be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision. Please, please stay healthy and safe. I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us”she said on Twitter.
Taylon Swift had been planning to perform at several festivals and hold her own Lover Fest concert on the East and West Coast… Sad news, but it’s for everyone’s safety!
