What can’t she do? Billie Eilish continues to show off her directing talents in the music video for her song ‘Everything I Wanted’.
‘Everything I Wanted’ is now Eilish’s second self-directed music video. She directed the video for “Xanny” in December. The ‘Everything I Wanted’ video shows Eilish is finding her footing as a director and taking control over the creative process in her music videos.
Eilish starred alongside her brother Finneas in the video. It starts off with a message from the 18-year-old singer appearing on the screen. It reads, “Finneas is my brother and my best friend. No matter the circumstance, we always have and always will be there for each other.” The video shows that Finneas is her ride or die in a literal way. The two sit next to each other driving a car around and then into the ocean. As the car submerges underwater the two are shown holding hands.
Eilish posted about the video, urging her fans to watch. She wrote on Instagram, “GO WATCH GO WATCH WE WORKED SO F—ING HARD ON THIS B.”
The video already has millions of views and hit the top of YouTube’s trending page.
