Tell us more about your experience on AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE. What is one of your most memorable moments on set?

Every day is amazing. It sounds cheesy, but we are all one big family. There isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t have some type of hilarious moment. This past season, we were filming our Prom episode, and Diedrich Bader and I almost passed out because we had to hold in our awe of Peyton Meyer. Peyton had to shoot a basket in the scene and he threw up two free throws in a row. He got them in without even looking at the basket and it was so hard for us not to react. As soon as the director yelled, “Cut!” Diedrich, I and the crew went wild!! We could not believe it [laughs].

What is it about playing in a film that you prefer over playing in a TV series and vice versa?

I love both! Filming on location is like going to summer camp. It’s a short & intense time where you get to know everyone, whereas filming for TV is like going to school every day. You create amazing friendships in both, you just get less time with them in film.

Growing up, how did you find yourself on the path of actors?

I started at a performing arts school, Annies Playhouse, when I was 6 years old. Annies was my 2nd home. I was terrible at sports but instantly fell in love with musical theatre… I seriously could not get enough. I knew pretty early on that I would always be an actor and/or artist in some capacity, so everything I’m doing now is a complete dream come true.

Who has supported you the most throughout this journey?

My parents. They have supported and guided me since day one!

If you could play a role alongside any actor/actress (dead or alive), who would it be and why?

Amy Poehler! I loved watching her on SNL growing up. I remember thinking it would be so cool to be on SNL, doing a skit with her. I want to be a fly on the wall in a room with her and learn as much as I can!

Favorite genre of movie to act in?

Comedy, but I would love to be in an action movie kicking butt.

Tell us more about your fashion. How would you describe it?

Random. I find standout pieces and make an outfit around that one item. And I love accessories – the more there are, the better.

What is one thing you can never leave the house without?

My mask, cocoa butter chapstick, and my Kodak disposable camera.

If you could have a dish named after you, what would it be and why?

A sushi roll that has avocado and some sort of secret ingredient. I eat sushi and avocado every day, but also I love to try new foods, so I want to be somewhat surprised.

What is next for you?

Season 5 of “American Housewife,” writing & recording new music, continuing my partnerships with various charities to support underserved children’s needs, including support for anxiety and mental health issues, and I have other exciting news; but nothing I can share yet! Sorry 🙂
