There is no doubt that modeling takes courage and the will to step out of your comfort zone…which is exactly what Elia Berthold was drawn to.  Also using this path as a way to propel himself toward a musical career, he takes in all the lessons life has to offer! Channeling his power to influence positive change in this world, Elia finds meaning and purpose in everything he does!

What does beauty mean to you?

To me, the word “beauty” stands for physical health, mental health, happiness, gratitude, and appreciation.

People who manage to live a healthy life are beautiful.

Why were you attracted to a modeling career?

I used modeling as an excuse to push myself to get in the best shape I could be and to prepare myself for a future as a musician.

How has modeling intervened in your life as a tool to discover more about yourself?

Modeling really challenged me and taught me tough life lessons. I feel like many models struggle with the constant rejection and how many jobs you get in the end will still never make up for all those rejections, or maybe I’m projecting… you either have to become very strong mentally or eventually follow a different career path.

You are also an artist! Tell us more about your music and what you hope to accomplish as an actor.

I have graduated from T-Schreiber right before the pandemic started and dabbled in the acting world, but really all I ever really cared about is music. It took me a while to find my own style and to be able to produce my own music the way I wanted it to sound. But finally, I feel like I have all the tools I need to make my songs feel complete (at least to me). Stay tuned for my next releases.

Do you have a favorite amongst your songs? Explain why it stands out.

My favorite songs are called “heal” “RUN!” and “Without You” – the latter is a duet with dance icon “VASSY” and just got remixed by the DJ duo “Dirty Werk” recently.

Share with us a lifelong dream of yours. Why does it mean so much to you?

My biggest dream was always to be able to create amazing music with other artists. I love crossover projects. One day I would love to be able to work with artists like Grimes, Bon Iver, and James Vincent McMorrow.

Any message for our readers?

If you know what life you want to live, don’t listen to people who don’t share or don’t understand your vision. Work on yourself constantly and go for it! Everybody has immense potential and is capable of incredible achievements.
