Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie and Devo are set to headline the first annual ‘Cruel World’ festival. The company Goldenvoice will be launching the festival. Their company is also behind Coachella, Stagecoach and more.

Morrissey just announced that his forthcoming album, ‘I am not a dog on a chain’ will come March 20th. For now, ‘Cruel World’ is the only date Morrissey has scheduled for a tour. For Bauhaus ‘Cruel World’ is one of many stops they have planned after reuniting last year.

Other performers for the festival include Berlin, Marc Almond, Echo and the Bunnymen, Gary Numan,  Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, English Beat, the Church, Public Image Ltd She Wants Revenge, and Cold Cave.

The festival will take place on May 2nd at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles. Presale tickets go on sale February 13th at 12 PM PST.
