Masa, triple Michelin starred, has also gone into take away sales. But not at any price. You might be shocked…
It’s one of the best-known tables in New York and the United States, but also one of the most expensive. Masa, a luxury Japanese restaurant, famous for the cuisine of its chef Masa Takayama, closed its doors at the beginning of the city’s confinement. But after several weeks of thinking about a solution to continue serving its customers, the table finally opted for a take-out offer.
On the menu: a complete sushi and/or sashimi box, for two to four people, allowing you to make your own temaki at home. The box, which contains slices of raw fish, raw vegetables, ginger, wasabi, soy sauce, a seaweed leaf and rice, is sold for $738. Offered without drink, these boxes will be limited to twenty and available only on Fridays. For our part, we will be satisfied with Noshi sushi…
