Just Don, a luxury streetwear brand that brings quality detailing to sports classics, initiated their collaboration with Nike today.
The collection includes a revamp of Nike’s famed Air Force 1 shoe. Additionally, Just Don rolled out their collaboration with Levis, which includes a denim trucker jacket and a matching track suit. Both releases were launched as part of the NBA’s All-Star Weekend 2020, which takes place this weekend in Chicago from February 14, to February 16.
The collection launched February 13 and includes a limited-edition sneaker that’s inspired by Just Don designer, Don Crawley’s hometown city, Chicago.Don Crawley pulled the blue color scheme from the Chicago flag, and electrifies it to give it the Amex touch. The shoe is available online exclusively to Amex® Card Members at http://amex.co/don-c.
For the Levis partnership, Crawley was inspired by the 80’s, but also acknowledged that streetwear and sports culture is still alive and well today. According to Crawley, “the Chicago style that I wanted to communicate in this collection was like that fresh feeling when you’re going to the game.” Pieces from the Levis collaboration are available at https://justdon.com/, and at the RSVP Gallery in Chicago.
