Immersive activation spaces and models in custom outfits from celebrity designer Michael Ngo will capture the attention of festival attendees and support key retailers in the region
Icelandic Glacial, the premium naturally alkaline, sustainably sourced spring water brand from Iceland, is excited to unveil activation plans as a gold level sponsor at this year’s Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®).
Widely known as one of America’s favorite gourmet gatherings on the beach, the 2022 Festival will welcome more than 60,000+ attendees over the course of four days and will be the second year the brand has activated as the official still water partner of Goya Foods’ Grand Tasting Village and North Venue.
To leave a lasting impression on attendees, Icelandic Glacial plans to build immersive activation spaces that pay homage to the source and product, juxtaposing the ice caves of Iceland with the sun-drenched shores of South Beach. Sustainability, a core pillar of the brand, played a key role in the planning of the activation spaces, with the brand investing in designs that can be stored and reused at next year’s festival and additional premium events throughout the US.
At these spaces, attendees will be greeted by models wearing Icelandic Glacial inspired outfits from celebrity designer Michael Ngo, who has designed bespoke couture for Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Lil Nas X and more top-charting artists. The model styling – featuring a silver sequin top and bottom, accompanied with a cropped light blue puffer jacket, and white block toe sock boots – is inspired by new packaging design introduced by the brand over the past year, now on display at key retailers in the region including Publix.
