HBO released a new trailer for its upcoming miniseries The Plot Against America based on the Philip Roth novel of the same name. The series imagines an alternate history of the Franklin D. Roosevelt presidency, giving the election instead to aviator and Nazi sympathizer Charles Lindbergh and the effect his presidency has on the Jewish community of the United States.

The new trailer released on Tuesday shows Lindbergh, who, in real life, did not run for president, and his rise to power through anti-Semetic talking points and the fear and ambiguity his rise brings to a Jewish family. Morgan Spector and Zoe Kazan play parents grappling with the results of the spread of fascism in America on them and their children, while Winona Ryder plays the wife of John Turturro’s rabbi who supports and advocates for Lindbergh.

The 6-episode series is written by The Wire writers David Simon and Ed Burns and will premiere March 16th.
