“High Water” is the evolution of Elephante’s sound, featuring his own vocals, guitar playing, and songwriting. While staying true to his high-energy dance roots, “High Water” marks a shift towards a more alt-electronic, organic feel. Combining the atmospheric verve and production of modern electronic artists like Odesza and Jai Wolf, with the singer-songwriter and alt-rock vibes of John Mayer and Red Hot Chili Peppers, “High Water” tells a story about getting caught up riding a wave of excess, and the view from the bottom of the ensuing crash.

A wildly innovative producer, artist and songwriter fusing melodic electronic dance music with pop, blues, rock, and other genres, Elephante (American musical artist Tim Wu) has garnered hundreds of millions of streams across his two indie EPs: I Am The Elephante(2016), a nine-track exploration of progressive house, synthpop and trap; and Glass Mansion (2018), which shot to #1 on iTunes’ U.S. Dance chart.
