In a world that often feels divided, the World Culture Film Festival (WCFF) is a breath of fresh air—a cinematic celebration dedicated to the stories that connect us, heal us, and remind us of our shared humanity. From June 26 to 29, 2025, the festival returns to Los Angeles for its second edition, bringing with it four days of inspiring films, global voices, live performances, and soul-stirring conversations.

More than just a film festival, WCFF is a movement. Powered by the Art of Living Foundation, and inspired by the vision of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the event aims to create a cultural space where art becomes a catalyst for peace, unity, and joyful living. With over 800 million people impacted in 180+ countries, Gurudev’s mission of a stress-free, violence-free society has now found a powerful voice in the medium of film.

This year’s programming is a rich tapestry of heart-opening cinema, thought-provoking panels, and unforgettable moments. The festival opens with a screening of Rule Breakers, followed by a live Q&A with lead actors Amber Afzali, Nina Hosseinzadeh, and Sara Malal Rowe.

A keynote address from Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will set the tone for a weekend rooted in intention and hope. Attendees will also enjoy the Oscar-shortlisted gem Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Bollywood legend Aamir Khan; as well as The Performance, with appearances by Chet Lowe and Jeremy Piven.

For those seeking a visual escape, The View Beyond by photographer and visual storyteller Sahil Rohira is an aerial photography exhibition that invites us to literally rise above the noise. Through his lens, the world transforms into a canvas of stillness, wonder, and quiet majesty—reminding us that perspective is everything.

But the true magic of WCFF lies in the way it brings people together. Across film screenings, cultural performances, and mindful conversations, the festival becomes a sanctuary for community, compassion, and creativity. This year’s growing list of celebrity guests includes Jeremy Piven, Sam Asghari, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Richa Moorjani, Poorna Jagannathan, Cory Hardrict, Sarayu Blue, Preity Zinta, Tamanna Roashan, Punam Patel, Liza Koshy, and more—each adding their voice to a global celebration of storytelling that matters.

Whether you’re a film lover, a seeker of meaning, or simply someone looking to be inspired, WCFF offers a space to reflect, connect, and rejoice in the beauty of humanity.
