Rosewood's new Napa Valley resort opens April 15, 2027, with 96 rooms, 33 residences and a spa. Reservations are already live, and advisors get first crack.
Rosewood is planting a flag in wine country, and the price of admission starts at $2,100 a night. Rosewood Calistoga, the group’s new resort at the northern tip of Napa Valley, opens on April 15, 2027, and the reservation books are already open.
The brand’s footprint in the United States is small, so a new address here counts. This one sits on 118 acres of forested ridgeline in Calistoga, a short walk from the heart of downtown. Trees, not vineyards, are the main view.

The rooms, the villas and the pedigree
The hotel keeps things intimate: 96 guest rooms, 31 of them suites. Entry level is the Estate King at 500 square feet. If you want to stretch out, the Forest View Suite starts at 1,000 square feet.
Then there are the residences, a separate count of 33 that includes 20 villas and 13 estate homesites. They don’t figure in the room total, so the hotel proper stays small.
Design comes from studio Atelier Marsh. Architect Ed Tuttle set the original vision for the property.
What’s on the grounds
Food and drink run to a farm-to-table restaurant, a poolside eatery and a small cocktail bar. Names haven’t been announced yet.
The wellness side is the standard Rosewood package, done properly: an Asaya Spa with six treatment rooms, hydrotherapy experiences, a fitness center and an outdoor garden. There are two pools, and one is adults only.

The neighbors are serious. Napa already has Alila, Four Seasons and several Auberge Collection properties: Auberge du Soleil, Solage and Stanly Ranch. Rosewood is arriving at a very well-dressed party.
How to book early, and what it costs
Stays are bookable from the April 15, 2027 opening date. Until November 4, 2026, the only way in is through Rosewood Elite travel advisors. After that date the public can book directly.
Rosewood Elite is the brand’s preferred partner program. Book this property through it and you get a guaranteed room upgrade at booking, subject to availability. You also get a $90 daily breakfast credit, a $125 hotel credit once per stay, valet parking and a welcome amenity, plus other extras.
Rates currently run from $2,100 to $2,500 a night, depending on the season. That’s steep, though it sits comfortably alongside what the region’s top hotels charge.
Anyone who wants Napa without the Rosewood price tag has options. Alila Napa Valley remains a strong pick for points redemptions.
