Beauty technology, glass skin, scalp care and a limited-edition Cherry brush converge at Medicube’s immersive Melrose Avenue pop-up.
K-beauty isn’t slowing down, it’s getting more experiential.
Medicube has landed in Los Angeles with Wellness Club X2, an immersive three-day pop-up transforming Melrose Avenue into a playground for the brand’s expanding world of skincare technology, haircare and wellness.
Ahead of its public opening, VULKAN stepped inside the September 24 VIP preview, where guests including Audrina Patridge, Malika Haqq, Khadijah Haqq McCray, Natalie Halcro and medicube Global Creative Director Sir John celebrated the arrival of Wellness Club X2 in LA.

Running publicly from September 25 through 27, the experience revolves around medicube’s new-generation Booster Pro X2 but the concept goes beyond introducing another beauty device.
Visitors are invited to personalize the experience from the beginning, completing a skin questionnaire before receiving a recommended device mode, wellness card and badge. From there, the house becomes an interactive introduction to the medicube universe: Booster Pro X2 demonstrations, fitness-inspired displays, photo installations, a smoothie bar featuring six medicube-inspired flavors and a retail space dedicated to discovering the brand’s latest launches.
The Booster Pro X2 itself combines seven skincare solutions in one device. Alongside familiar Booster, Air Shot, MC and Derma Shot functions, the X2 generation adds Dual and Mask modes as well as AI-powered personalized recommendations through medicube’s AGE-R app.
It’s beauty tech designed to make the increasingly sophisticated world of at-home skincare feel interactive, exactly the kind of product that makes more sense once you’ve had the opportunity to hold it, test it and understand how its different modes fit into a routine.
From Glass Skin to Glass Hair
One of the most interesting parts of Wellness Club X2 is Medicube’s expansion beyond the face.
The brand is spotlighting its growing Rosemary PDRN haircare collection, bringing ingredients and concepts more commonly associated with skincare into scalp and hair routines. Current products in the line incorporate rosemary, PDRN and amino acids and focus on scalp care, strength, smoothness and healthier-looking hair.
But the product destined to find its way onto beauty mood boards may be an accessory rather than a serum.
Meet the medicube x FOREVER CHERRY Ribbon Cherry Glass Hair Brush.
Created as a limited-edition collaboration, the $29 brush comes in a translucent pink finish with an oversized sculpted ribbon detail that makes it feel somewhere between a functional beauty tool and a collectible object.
Underneath the playful exterior is a four-layer bristle system designed for comfortable detangling and everyday brushing. Used after medicube’s Rosemary PDRN routine, the brush serves as the finishing step: smoothing and polishing the hair to help create the ultra-glossy appearance that’s given rise to beauty’s latest obsession — “glass hair.”
It’s a clever evolution of the glass-skin conversation. Instead of restricting the aesthetic to complexion, medicube is extending the ritual from scalp to strand.
And for those already eyeing the brush, availability is intentionally limited: it’s being offered at the LA pop-up and through Amazon.

A Beauty Playground on Melrose
Beyond the products themselves, Wellness Club X2 understands something increasingly important about modern beauty: discovery is part of the experience.
Guests can move from personalized skincare recommendations to device testing, smoothies and photo moments before exploring the retail area. Visitors who share their experience on Instagram can also participate in an on-site scratch-off giveaway for the chance to take home medicube products and accessories.
VULKAN’s VIP preview ended with another highlight: an impressively packed Medicube gift bag filled with products to take home and put to the test. After getting an introduction to the brand’s universe inside Wellness Club X2, having the products to continue experimenting with afterward felt like the perfect way to complete the experience.

Medicube Wellness Club X2 is open to the public at 8250 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles through Sunday, September 27.
Public hours are 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Sunday.
If glass skin, beauty tech and the next wave of K-beauty are on your radar, this is one LA pop-up worth experiencing before it disappears.
