Trailblazing pop-star Hayley Kiyoko is back with another hit single to add to her body of work, called “L.O.V.E. Me.” The single, with its corresponding music video, shows Hayley’s playful side with a beat you can’t help but dance to. The upbeat track is as relatable as ever, as Hayley begs for her crush’s love and attention.
“’L.O.V.E. Me’ is a song I’ve been trying to write for years!! I’m very protective of my personal life but admittedly I’m a big romantic at heart. ‘L.O.V.E. Me’ captures what it feels like to fall head over heels and want to shout from the rooftops about it. It’s showcasing the classic struggle we sometimes face when someone tells you they love you in private, but is too scared to express that love publicly. I hope this song brings some relatability to anyone who is craving that declaration of love.” Hayley reveals about her new single.
The beautiful icon is following a streak of hits, with “I Wish,” “Demons,” and now “L.O.V.E. Me.” These releases are building up to the January full release of her unapologetic project, and then tour, “I’m Too Sensitive For This Sh*t.” The empowering artist will be taking her talents across North America for the tour kicking off in January. Kiyoko was also honored this week with the “Youth Innovator Award” at The Trevor Project’s TrevorLIVE Los Angeles Gala for her efforts using her platform to shine a light on marginalized communities, as well as being an influence on the LGBTQ community. The three singles off of I’m Too Sensitive For This Sh*t are Kiyoko’s first releases since her breakthrough album, Expectations, last year, which landed her “at the forefront of an unapologetically queer pop movement.” Hayley Kiyoko has already been named to the #20GAYTEEN’s best albums, VMA’s Push Artist of the Year, and Billboard’s Rising Star. Listen to “L.O.V.E. Me” now!
