There are scents that linger like memories, and there are scents that create them. The 14:30 Palais de la Bahia candle by D’ORSAY belongs to the latter—a fragrance and an object designed to transport you into the golden hour of Marrakech.
Imagined by perfumer Vincent Ricord, it opens with the fiery warmth of cinnamon, chilli, and clove, then unfolds into a heart of cardamom, incense, cumin, and rose, before settling on the grounding elegance of patchouli and sandalwood. A composition of contrasts, both intimate and expansive, it evokes the tiled courtyards and rose-lined walls of the Bahia Palace at dusk.
Each candle is housed in a limited-edition ceramic jar created by LRNCE, the Marrakech-based lifestyle brand renowned for marrying traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Hand-painted with bold, abstract lines in earthy tones, every piece is unique and artisanal—an object of design that lives on long after the wax has burned away.
True to its heritage, D’ORSAY casts each candle in France, in a workshop where the savoir-faire of master Ciriers has been handed down for four generations. Using traditional hand-poured techniques, natural wax, refillable design, and recyclable packaging, the house continues to blend artistry, sustainability, and refinement.
The 14:30 Palais de la Bahia is more than a scented candle. It is a work of olfactory and visual poetry, a summer in Morocco extended by flame, and a reminder that beauty resides in the small rituals that illuminate our days.
